Our B&B is located on a piazza right in the heart of Canale di Tenno, an ancient medieval village perched on a hill 600 metres above the Trentino side of Lake Garda, between Riva del Garda and the Fiavè highlands.

Canale di Tenno is a member of the I borghi più belli d’Italia (Italy’s most beautiful villages) association. The first document certifying the existence of Canale dates to 1211. Canale di Tenno has maintained its original village layout in the intervening years, which comprises four streets that meet in a village square, plus several stone houses and charming archways that connect one building to the next.
THE MEDIEVAL VILLAGE OF CANALE
Canale is home to a small but impressive museum containing tools used in rural life and the Casa degli Artisti, which is dedicated to the painter Giacomo Vittone, who chose Canale as his adoptive home. Today it is an art centre that hosts courses, exhibitions, and concerts, as well as a residence for artists.
Canale di Tenno is also famous for events such as the Rustico Medioevo, which celebrates the village’s ancient origins. This art festival takes place every year in the second week of August to celebrate medieval life in the village. Meanwhile, the village hosts a traditional Christmas market every weekend in December.

Our Bed & Breakfast is housed in an old stone building in Canale’s main village square. The house has four elegant bedrooms with red larch-wood floors. Each room is soundproofed and furnished with antique furniture in an industrial key, plus a few small works of art.
All of our rooms are suitable for writers wanting to spend some time alone to write their next big novel, or those in search of comfort and good food. Sportspeople who love the mountains, road biking and mountain biking are also more than welcome, as are guests looking for some much-needed downtime on the shores of Lake Tenno, which is just a ten-minute walk from us. Our rooms are suitable for couples on romantic getaways, families, and fans of active holidays who love to explore new places every single day.
